"What They Never Tell You" from IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU - music by Barbara Anselmi. Barbara and I wrote this song when the show was in its nascent stages and it thrillingly stayed in all the way till Broadway and publishing by Music Theatre International. The legendary Tyne Daly sang it to her daughter, played by Lisa Howard, eight times a week.
